Face Painting Disclaimer

We can not paint children under three years old.

All face paints are EU & FDA-approved. They are vegan, water-based paints, however please note that cosmetics can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reactions and we accept no liability for this.


We follow a strict code of practice with hygiene and care. we use a clean sponge for each person and brushes are cleaned for each event.

Health and hygiene are our top priority and we ask that our products and equipment remain untouched.

If the person being painted has not been painted before please ask for a patch test first. The person may have sensitive skin or develop an allergic reaction. It is your responsibility to advise us of any sensitively before painting and we accept no liability for allergic reactions caused.

At private events, it is the responsibility of the host/organiser to seek permission from those who wish to have their face painted or their parent/guardian. This needs to be done before the event.

We reserve the right to refuse to paint the face of any person who appears unwell or with medical conditions such as, but not limited to, sore throat, cold sores, psoriasis, open wounds, broken skin, conjunctivitis, runny nose, infected skin, and head lice. In these circumstances, we can paint, at the artist's discretion, the arm or hand of that person.

Face paints are easily removed with soap and water. Wipes are not recommended as they could agitate the skin.

All our paints are water-based and should not stain clothing. If clothing is stained please soak in water before washing. We will not be held liable for any damage to clothing or property.

Any photographs taken by our team will not be used online without consent. If the client is under 18 this will need to be from a parent or guardian. Any photographs taken will be for promotional use only.

 

We will not share any of our customer's personal information. 

A complimentary copy of the photographs can be  to the client/parent/guardian upon request.

We reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone against their wishes,
regardless of age.

We reserve the right to refuse to paint anything the artist deems to be offensive, obscene, and/or inappropriate for the event.

Please do not eat or drink whilst being painted.

Please do not go on your phone whilst being painted. If you do need to go on your phone the artist will not paint on your face at the same time.

Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.

All people who wish to have their face painted must have a clean and dry face.

We have public liability insurance. A copy of the policy can be seen upon request.

Some paints may leave a slight tint on the skin and should fade in a day or so. The stains are not permanent.

Special FX, Prosthetics Disclaimer

We reserve the right to not apply make-up on children under five years old. Any special effect make-up requested for anyone under ten will be discussed and reviewed by Pink's Paints with the client, with the child's best interests in mind. There are several aspects we will consider, including but not limited to, whether the make-up requested is age-appropriate and whether the child will feel comfortable wearing the make-up.

A patch test may be required before a decision can be made.

 

Although we can apply make-up on clients older than ten, this does depend on the nature of the special effects being requested and the person. This is to ensure that the make-up is age-appropriate and that they feel comfortable wearing it. This is not only important for young people but adults too.

With bookings where a trial is being held, the trial cost will be required as the booking fee. 

The event date will be held in our bookings for up to 72 hours following completion of the trial. A 50% deposit of the day cost is required to secure the booking.

All our make-up products used for special effects and prosthetics are safe on the skin. However, a patch test will be required before application with certain products. Please note that cosmetics can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reactions and we accept no liability for this.

We reserve the right to refuse to apply make-up that the artist deems to be offensive, obscene, and/or inappropriate for the event.

 

Please do not eat or drink whilst the artist is applying make-up.

 

Please do not go on your phone whilst the artist is applying make-up.

 

If you do need to go on your phone the artist will not work on you at the same time.

If you are going to an event with prosthetics please be aware that the make-up will need to be removed and that may require the make-up artist's support. This will all be discussed with you when planning for the event/occasion as extra fees may apply for the make-up artist's return. this is for more involved make-up, such as prosthetics.

 

Any photographs taken by our team will not be used online without consent. If the client is under 18 this will need to be from a parent or guardian.

Any photographs taken will be for promotional use only and identifies will not be shared with any third party. A complimentary copy can be emailed to the client/parent/guardian upon request.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

In order to secure a booking the client must pay 50% of the overall fee, this is non-refundable.

Please understand that we have held the date of your event and most likely passed on other events in order to entertain for you. The Booking Fee is non-refundable, though it may be transferable if you re-schedule your event to a date that will work with your Artist's Schedule. Please be cautious when booking us for outdoor events. Having an alternative indoor plan for rain is highly recommended.

If you cancel your event with at least 3 days notice, only the booking fee will be non-refundable, i.e. you will no be billed for the Balance due at Time of Event. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours are subject to being billed for 75% of the Balance Due at time of event. If we are not contacted about cancellation within 23 hours, you will be billed for the balance due at time of event. 

If you must cancel your event, please contact us right away and confirm cancellation.

 


The Pink's Paints will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation. However, all deposits are non-refundable.

If the booking i
s directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the Pink's Paints, every possible endeavor to rectify such situations will be made. However, no compensation will be offered on the makeup artist’s/Pink's Paints part.
